ROB LASER CELL 3D Robotic · US project support

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers for automotive manufacturers planning robotic laser welding cells and OEM integration.

Can you work with an existing machine concept?

Start with your layout, mechanical envelope, control architecture and part drawings. The engineering review establishes the integration boundaries and identifies information needed before a concept can be agreed.

Do you supply a standard laser power or robot model?

The configuration depends on the material, joint, access and production requirements. Specific source, robot and processing-head selections are confirmed through application review and the agreed project scope.

Can we discuss a welding subsystem instead of a full cell?

Yes. The OEM integration discussion can focus on a defined subsystem. Agree on who owns tooling, handling, enclosure, safety engineering, machine sequencing and acceptance.

What should we send for an initial review?

Provide material specifications, thicknesses, part and assembly drawings, joint requirements, product variants, available space and production targets. Use the contact form to arrange the exchange of drawings; the form does not accept uploads.

Can a retrofit be evaluated?

Share the current machine documentation, available space, control details and installation constraints. Feasibility and the scope of recommissioning depend on the installed equipment.

Are cycle time or weld quality guaranteed on this website?

Performance is defined for the agreed configuration and verified through the project acceptance plan. Website application descriptions do not establish a production guarantee.

How are FAT and SAT defined?

Factory and site acceptance plans identify the test parts, operating conditions, measurements, documentation and responsibility for closing open items.

Where is the US contact?

The contact address is 11417 Irving Park Rd, Franklin Park, IL 60131 U.S.A.. Reach the team at [email protected] or +1 224 549 40 44.
